Chewing gum use banned
How conscious are we and you about cleanliness in our country? You can decide this by looking at yourself. Yes, there is such a wonderful country in the world in which the news of the new law made is enough to make you and our ears stand. Because we-you would not have imagined such a law even in a dream. As soon as it is implemented, this law which comes in the discussion around the world and the country that implements this law is Singapore.
Singapore has implemented this law for the second time in nearly 30 years. About 26-27 years ago, Singapore had implemented this law. Later, after a mutual agreement with the US, Singapore abolished this law in 2004. Now again, this law has been implemented in Singapore, banning “chewing gum” in the country’s border (Chewing gum banned in Singapore). Restrictions are also not in the air just like that.
Strict restrictions to the extent that after the implementation of this law, if any person is caught using ‘chewing gum’ within the country of Singapore, then he will not be well. The accused caught on the charge of violating the law will have to pay the fine out of pocket, so he will have to pay it. If the case is proved to be a serious violation of the law, then along with the fine, there can be a sentence of arrest and jail. Penalty, punishment, all this will be decided by the courts of Singapore. Actually all this Singapore has done to keep the country clean.
Because of this, the government again decided
The current government of Singapore believes that people who eat chewing gum are very careless. They use it and throw it here and there. Due to this, there is only filth in public places in the country. Along with this, the common people or those who do not use chewing gum also have to face unnecessary problems. Therefore, the government of the country is not ready to accept this at any cost, that due to some careless people, the country should be made dirty and due to the low intelligence of some people (chewing gum eaters) put innocent people in trouble. Or keep being put.
Then the decision had to be reversed
It is not that Singapore has implemented such a law or restriction for the first time. A similar strict law banning the use of chewing gum was implemented in Singapore in 1992 as well. Even at that time, there were arguments about the ban on chewing gum of the country’s government from today itself. Till the year 2004, that law was strictly implemented in the country. That effort also yielded fruitful results. From 1992 till 2003-2004, the country was saved from the mess caused by the use of chewing gum.
By the year 2004, there was an open trade agreement between Singapore and America between America and Singapore. Therefore, under that agreement, Singapore lifted the ban on the consumption of health-related chewing gum since 1992. As soon as the ban was lifted, the chewing gum eaters again started dirtying the country badly. Therefore, recently again Singapore has completely banned the use of chewing gum in its border.
Ignoring this law will be very heavy
The Singapore government has exposed every fact in this law, which was re-implemented some time ago. In the facts revealed in the new law, all other aspects including legal, social concerns have also been mentioned in detail. If we look at some of these main points, now for the first time in Singapore, if caught using chewing gum in the country’s border, in Indian currency, the accused will have to pay a fine of 74 thousand rupees as fine.
Whereas for the second time if a person was caught using chewing gum within the limits of Singapore country, using it and throwing it somewhere, then he will have to face a heavy fine of 1 lakh rupees. Along with this, in view of the seriousness of the case, if the court wants, then the accused can also be sentenced to 2 years in jail.
