Many restrictions on flight were removed
In view of the loosening corona epidemic, the government is taking many new decisions. Recently, many domestic flights have been approved. Some international flights have also started. Trains were already running, but now their operation will be like the old era when there was no corona. At that time there were no special trains and the fare was also reasonable. According to the Railways, there is a preparation to restore the same round again. Some similar decisions have been taken for domestic flights.
In an important decision, the government on Tuesday allowed food and drink facility even in short distance flights. It was banned due to COVID. But now food and drink can be enjoyed on all domestic flights. In view of the second wave of Corona, the government had stopped the arrangement of food in the flight of less than 2 hours. Now this system is going to be restored again.
Now newspapers and magazines can also be read
Another great facility is going to be available. In view of COVID, the service like newspaper or magazine reading in the flight was stopped. According to the new order of the Ministry of Aviation, airline companies can now carry reading material such as newspapers and magazines. Passengers can take advantage of this facility. Although there was no restriction on food and drink in international flight services earlier, so this service is already running.
what did the government say
The Ministry of Civil Aviation has said in a statement, in view of the ever-improving condition of the epidemic and better management of the corona protocol, the government has given some relaxation in the old rules. Some of the restrictions that were imposed during the second wave of Corona are now being given relief. In these, a big thing has been said for the cabin crew. During the Corona wave, it was mandatory for the cabin crew to wear PPE kits, now it has been abolished. This order was issued by Usha Padhi, Secretary, Ministry of Aviation and with this all the restrictions were over.
condition of restrictions
In the past, the government has been imposing restrictions in view of the condition of COVID and has been taking cognizance of it from time to time. If the situation seems favourable, the restrictions have been bypassed. The recent judgment is an example of this. As soon as the second wave stopped, the government said in an order that airline companies can operate by filling all the seats of the aircraft (100 percent occupancy). This gave a big relief to the companies as their source of income increased.
what restrictions are removed
The fare band of the flight has been reduced to 15 days. That is, passengers will be able to book tickets within 15 days from their journey and will be able to buy tickets in the fare range fixed by the government and airline companies. Now the biggest restriction in terms of air service continues on scheduled international flights, which has been imposed since March 2020. Since last summer, international flights are being flown under bubble agreement.
Scheduled international flights operate with limited passenger capacity. Because of this there is pressure on airline companies and due to this the international fares are skyrocketing. The tourism industry has urged the government to continue with the bubble system, either increasing the number of international flights or allowing scheduled flights to countries where Covid is under control. For this, if the government wants, it can take a certificate of Made in India vaccine.
