Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan wrote a letter to health secretaries of all states and union territories on Monday saying that on-site registration for Health Care Workers (HCWs) and Front Line Workers (FLWs) is now only Government Corona Vaccination Centers (Covid) vaccination centers). Apart from this, he also said that these Corona Warriors will also have to bring their photo, identity card and employment certificate for registration.
Decision taken on the matter of fake registration
This rule applies only to those healthcare workers and frontline workers, who are between 18 years and 44 years of age. Registration of people over 45 years of age will continue on the CoWIN portal. In fact, recently, some vaccination centers are getting the vaccine of people below 45 years in the name of health workers or frontline workers by doing registration (fake registration), that is, they made Corona vaccine by making fake people a beneficiary. Is going and because of this, the right people are not getting the vaccine.
The government says that some ineligible individuals are being registered as health workers, frontline workers at some vaccination centers and are being vaccinated in violation of the prescribed guidelines. Healthcare workers database has increased by 24 percent in the last few days. In view of this, appropriate changes are being made in the coin system to include these improvements in the registration system.
Real health workers should not stay away from vaccination
An official said that as the corona infection is wreaking havoc once again, vaccination of health workers and frontline workers is extremely important and this step will ensure that the actual staff and patients do not remain vaccinated. With this, the corona vaccination campaign is gaining momentum in the country. So far, 8.31 crore doses of vaccine have been made in India. Only on Monday, more than 43 lakh doses of vaccine were put across the country, which is the largest number in a day so far.
