More than one lakh students enrolling in the new academic session from class I to VIII in the state will now get books as well as dress for free. The central government has included the free book and dress scheme in the budget plan of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. Under this scheme, the newly admitted students in schools will get books and clothes free of cost. However, the state government had demanded from the central government to include all the students and girl students in this scheme.
