Kanya Sumangala Yojana For Daughter: Whenever it comes to securing the future of daughters in the country, people mention the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. But if you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh, then there is another such government scheme for you, by investing in which you can secure your daughter’s future. This scheme belongs to Kanya Sumangala Yojana (Kanya Sumangala Yojana, This scheme is run by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. In this, the UP government provides assistance from the birth of daughters to their studies. This can be of great help to the economically weaker sections.
Financial assistance is given in 6 installments under this scheme by the UP government. The first installment is given at the time of the birth of the girl child. 2 thousand rupees are available in this. After this, Rs 1,000 is given after completing one year of vaccination, Rs 2,000 at the time of admission in class I, Rs 2,000 at the time of admission in class VI and Rs 3,000 at the time of admission in class IX. After passing the 10th and 12th class exams or enrolling in a two-year diploma course, assistance of Rs 5,000 is given. Under the scheme, money is deposited in the account of the beneficiaries through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT).

This is the eligibility for this scheme
- The beneficiary’s family should be a resident of Uttar Pradesh and should have a permanent residence card.
- Ration card, Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, electricity or telephone bill will be valid as proof of residence.
- The annual income of the beneficiary family should be up to a maximum of 3 lakhs.
- Maximum two girls from a family will get the benefit of the scheme. If a woman has twin girls and after that the third child is also a girl child, then the third girl child will also be considered eligible for this scheme.
- If an orphan girl is adopted, maximum two girls including biological children and legally adopted children will be the beneficiaries of this scheme.

Apart from this, such applicants who are not able to apply through online medium can submit their application offline in the office of BDO / SDM / Probationary Officer.
