Noida News: Inspired by the popular UP Darshan Park in Lucknow, Greater Noida is set to welcome a new cultural attraction — the “Waste to Wonder Park” in Sector R-6. Spread across 20 acres, this unique theme park will be developed using scrap materials and will represent India’s architectural and cultural heritage from across the country.

The park, officially named “Adbhut Bharat Park”, will be built near the Noida Metro Depot Station under a revenue-sharing model for 20 years. Estimated to cost around ₹16 crore, it will feature miniature replicas of iconic monuments and heritage sites from North, South, East, and West India, including:

Jageshwar Dham (Uttarakhand)

Bhitargaon Temple (Kanpur)

Jain and Banswara Temples (Rajasthan)

Taj Mahal, among other global wonders

A Blend of Heritage and Adventure

The park will offer more than just sightseeing. It will also feature thrilling adventure activities and a light and sound show at night, providing a memorable experience for visitors — especially children. To enhance engagement, recreational games and cultural activities will also be introduced.

Entry to the park will be ticketed, though the ticket price is yet to be decided. A pre-bid meeting with potential developers is scheduled for July 4, during which officials will also discuss adding new experiential attractions to the park.

Knowledge Park-5 to Get ‘Dance Park’

In addition to the Waste to Wonder project, Greater Noida Authority will also redevelop D-Park in Knowledge Park-5 into a Dance-themed Park. The redesigned space will feature sculptures of classical dance poses, along with provisions for dance and yoga classes. Approximately ₹9 crore will be invested to develop this 18-acre facility.

A Small Market for Visitors

The plan also includes the construction of a small shopping area within the Waste to Wonder park to meet visitor needs. This mini-market will allow guests to shop for essentials or souvenirs while exploring the park.

Work to Begin Next Month

According to officials from the Greater Noida Authority, development work for both parks is expected to begin next month, adding new cultural and recreational hubs to the city’s landscape.

These initiatives are part of the authority’s broader efforts to promote tourism, enhance public engagement, and beautify urban spaces using sustainable and innovative models.
