According to the police officer, on the morning of January 10, the burnt bodies of Sumer Singh Kulaste and his wife were found in a hut built in the field outside Chaurai village under Bargi police station area. During this, the bodies of both were almost completely burnt. After that the police started the investigation of the case by sending the remains of their dead bodies for post-mortem. At the same time, during the investigation, the police came to know that Sumer Singh’s younger brother’s son Dayaram is missing since that day. Whereas after such a big incident in the house, it was more important for him to disappear there.
Accused arrested from brother-in-law’s house
At the same time, when the police investigated with the younger brother of the deceased, they told that Dayaram had gone somewhere for the past one month. But the villagers told that Dayaram was in the village till a day before the incident. During this the police got suspicious. In such a situation, the police started looking for him and Dayaram was detained from his brother-in-law’s house in Hinautia village of Barela police station.

Let us inform that in the interrogation done by the police, Dayaram told that he had set fire to the hut after killing his elder father and elder mother. Dayaram suspected Sumer Singh of doing witchcraft. During this he felt that his elder father had cast a spell on him and his family. That’s why they are never happy. In such a situation, last 4 to 5 years ago Dayaram’s elder brother had committed suicide by setting fire to it. At the same time, the deceased Sumer Singh had occupied their land and they were not able to take back that land. Dayaram’s sister was not getting married.
The accused committed the crime by attacking him with a buck
In this case, the police officer said that on the night of 9 January, Dayaram reached Sumer Singh’s hut. There both Sumer and his wife were sleeping on the cot. During this, Dayaram first attacked and killed him and then set the hut on fire. During this, he cut the ropes of the cattle tied there and left them. At present, after the arrest of Dayaram, the incident got exposed.
