Blast in Punjab’s Mohali: The police have dismissed the reports related to the second blast in Mohali, Punjab. SSP Vivek Soni has rubbished the reports related to the second attack.

Now these reports have been rejected by SSP Vivek Soni. He says there was no other blast. Earlier last night at 7:45 pm, there was a blast at the headquarters of the Intelligence Unit of Punjab Police. Which is currently being investigated. State Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the Intelligence Unit of Punjab Police in Mohali (Punjab Mohali BlastThe blast at the headquarters of ) is being investigated. He also emphasized that those trying to disturb peace in the state will not be spared.
According to official sources, Mann has called a meeting of senior police officials, including the Director General of Police, at his residence and has sought a report on the incident. Mann tweeted in Punjabi, “Punjab Police is investigating the Mohali blast. Those who try to disturb peace in Punjab will not be spared. A rocket-propelled grenade was attacked on Monday night at the headquarters premises of the police intelligence unit in Sector 77 in Mohali, shattering the windows of the third floor of the building.
The incident was a major intelligence failure
The incident is being seen as a major intelligence failure, as the building houses the offices of the state’s Counter Intelligence Wing, Special Task Force and some other units. Strictest action will be taken- Chadha
The Rajya Sabha MP tweeted, “Blast in Mohali is a cowardly act of those forces who want to disturb the peace of the state. The Punjab government will not spare the people involved in this incident and strictest action will be taken against them. Another AAP MP Sandeep Pathak said that this attack is highly condemnable. Pathak tweeted, “The attack on the Intelligence Headquarters of Punjab Police in Mohali is condemnable. I strongly condemn the attack. Police is probing the matter and not a single criminal will be spared. Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said that the criminals will not be spared. Kang tweeted, “The blast in Mohali is unfortunate, but the situation is now under control. The case is being investigated. Those involved in the attack will not be spared. No one will be allowed to play with peace and harmony. From this the panic of the anti-Punjab forces can be gauged.
