What is the importance of this month
It is said that if there is any kind of obstacle in life this month, then without panic you should chant the mantra Om Damodaray Namah and bow to your guru, this will remove the problem. Along with this, worshiping the conch will remove the discord in the house and there will be peace and happiness in the house. People should recite Vishnu Sahasranama, Bhagvat Geeta and Gajendramoksha this month to fulfill every wish.
Apart from this, offer Tulsi leaves to Vishnu while worshiping. Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya Mantra should be chanted while doing pooja everyday. According to the Puranas, conch should be worshiped in the month of Aghan by law. Just as all deities are worshipped, conch should be worshiped in the same way. Worshiping a simple conch in this month also gives the same results as the worship of Panchajanya conch, which is very dear to Lord Krishna.
