TMC candidate and CM Mamata Banerjee during Nandigram voting in second phase of West Bengal The Election Commission completely rejected that these allegations are factually completely wrong.
Let me tell you that Mamta Banerjee had been in Nandigram’s Bayal-2 booth for about two hours and from there she had called Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar and accused him of rigging the voting. He also accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of interfering in election work. Mamta Banerjee had also sent a letter to the Election Commission in this regard.
Allegations factually incorrect
The Election Commission termed Mamata Banerjee’s handwritten letter as “factually incorrect”, stating that Mamata Banerjee’s action at the polling station was “likely to adversely affect the law and order of West Bengal and perhaps in some other states” BJP may have objected to Mamta Banerjee staying in the booth for almost two hours. A case has also been filed by the BJP on the charge of violating Section 144 and in this regard a BJP delegation had also complained to the Election Commission.

Mamta sat in the booth for two hours
On the other hand, Mamta Banerjee said why did she go to Nandigram’s booth and sit there? All the goons from outside had gathered there with guns. They were all talking in some other language. BJP people were goons. Along with this, he had alleged that the Election Commission is running on the instructions of the Home Minister. He had said why Narendra Modi is campaigning on the day of polling. Why PM Narendra Modi is campaigning on the day of voting. Is this election not a violation of the Code of Conduct?
