‘We are staunch Shiv Sainiks of Balasaheb’
Maharashtra Political high voltage drama continued throughout the day yesterday. During this, the series of allegations and counter-allegations gained a lot of emphasis. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut also made several allegations that attempts are being made to topple the MVA government. Amidst the drama, Shinde tweeted a veiled dig at Shiv Sena for joining hands with Congress and NCP to form government in the state. Shinde said that ‘we are the staunch Shiv Sainiks of Balasaheb… Balasaheb has taught us Hindutva. We have never cheated for power with respect to Balasaheb’s ideas and the teachings of Dharamveer Anand Dighe Saheb and never will.’
Shinde has also removed Shiv Sena from his Twitter bio. Shinde has been a seasoned leader of the party. He has been instrumental in strengthening the organization in the Thane region and was made the Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly after the Shiv Sena split from the BJP in 2014. Shinde has been appointed as a cabinet minister in the MVA government. However, sources said that Shinde was feeling isolated after the formation of the MVA government.
