The administration is making new efforts for the prevention of Coronavirus is Nasik in Nashik. Nashik City, Commissioner of Police, Deepak Pandey said that we have started a different kind of effort to stop the corona virus in the city. We are issuing 5 Rupees Ticket per person to enter the market for one hour. This is an attempt to prevent the lockdown in the city.

In Maharashtra, facing the second wave of Coronavirus Second Wave, Tuesday was a bit of relief. For the first time in the week, Corona positive new cases came up less than 28000. On Tuesday, 27,918 new cases were reported in Maharashtra (Covid-19 in Maharashtra). Whereas on Monday the number was 31,643. With this, a total of 27,73,436 infections have been reported in Maharashtra and 54,422 people have died.

Slight drop in positivity rate

On Tuesday itself, the Union Health Secretary had expressed concern over the positive rate going up to 23 percent in Maharashtra on Monday. But on Tuesday, it also saw a slight decline. A total of 1,36,848 people were tested in Maharashtra on Monday. 23.1 percent of these people were found to be corona positive. On Tuesday, 1,29,876 people were tested and the positivity rate fell to 21.5 percent.

Even though positive reports have come down, the number of dead has increased. In Maharashtra, where 102 people died on Monday, the number increased to 139 on Tuesday. However, the situation was slightly different in Mumbai where 12 people died on Monday. At the same time, this number was reduced to 10 on Tuesday.
