ED (Enforcement Directorate) raided the house of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh. ED raids Anil Deshmukh’s house on Civil Lines in Nagpur. Four big officers are involved in this raid. The raids have started from 8 am. During the raid, there is a tight arrangement of the CRPF police outside the house. Meanwhile, a police officer present outside Anil Deshmukh’s house told that Anil Deshmukh is not at home. This raid has been conducted in the 100 crore recovery case. In the last two-three months, where and how much was invested, how was the investment, all these matters are being investigated.

Anil Deshmukh is not at home during the raid. Earlier, the statement of DCP Raju Bhujbal was recorded. In this case, the ED had recently asked for the details of the FIR and all the documents related to the case from the UP ATS. A month before this, the CBI had raided the house of Anil Deshmukh.

Raids for the second time in a month

Within a month, the house of Anil Deshmukh has been raided for the second time. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya, while giving his response to NewsNCR, said that Anil Deshmukh was doing the work of recovery of 100 crores every month with the blessings of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and NCP chief Sharad Pawar. The matter will not stop here, now action will be taken against the cabinet minister Anil Parab.

There is no politics behind the raid

BJP leader Atul Bhatkhalkar said that what is happening is happening under the orders of the Mumbai High Court. According to BJP leader Sudhir Mungantiwar, the way Anil Deshmukh was advocating for Sachin Waje, a normal police officer. The way they were using police officers to recover crores of rupees from hotel and bar owners, this day was bound to come. There is no politics behind this raid, it is part of the process of investigation.

Action is being taken against the crime which was not committed.

Let us inform that after the previous raid, Anil Deshmukh had given a statement that action is being taken against him for the crime which has not been committed. He had said that there is politics behind the action against him and nothing else. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut alleged that state institutions were capable of conducting investigations but the central government was misusing central probe agencies like ED and CBI. In the kind of cases, the investigating agencies are being pushed, it seems that these institutions are working in the capacity of a party worker. This is giving a bad name to these institutions.

Sanjay Raut reacts

On this raid of ED, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said that the central government is using CBI and ED for politics. Where there is loss to the country, investigative agencies should be deployed there. But it is being seen here that this is happening under politics. Yesterday also BJP talked of action against Ajit Pawar and Anil Parab. Are these agencies your workers or officers of your cell.
