On Monday, the Bombay High Court gave a very important decision in the recovery case of 100 crore every month using the other police officers including Sachin Waje. The court has directed the CBI to conduct a preliminary inquiry in 15 days and take further action on the basis of its finding. That is, the court has accepted the demand for a CBI investigation in this entire case. After this, Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis gave his response while talking to journalists.
Fadnavis said that we welcome the decision of the High Court. The way the recovery was going on in the CBI investigation, it will all come out. Several attempts were made that the CBI could not be investigated on this. But the Bombay High Court has handed over the case to the CBI while giving the verdict on the plea of Advocate Jayashree Patil. Simultaneously, we demand that the Home Minister resign and the Chief Minister should resign from him or else he should remove the Home Minister. This is the black chapter of Maharashtra in which the state sponsor action of bribery and haftakhori has come to the fore.
BJP demanded the resignation of the Home Minister
Devendra Fadnavis said that after the High Court ordered a CBI inquiry, it is not appropriate to be his home minister. They should remain out of office till the investigation is complete. If they prove to be impeccable, then there is no objection to being taken into the cabinet again. But he should resign on the basis of morality till the investigation goes on. He alleged that pressure was being brought on Jayashree Patil on behalf of the government. He said that the court asked Jayshree Rai why you did not lodge a complaint.
Jayashree Rai said that she wanted to complain but it was not filed. His name was not taken in the police diary. What role Sharad Pawar will play on this is a personal question, but he is the leader of the stature, now he has to decide what he should do. But taking resignation is now his responsibility as well as his accountability.
Silent surprise of Chief Minister
Devendra Fadnavis also questioned the role of the Chief Minister. He said that the Home Minister supported Sachin Waje. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray also kept silent in the 100 crore recovery case put up by Sachin Waje and Parambir Singh and the transfer-posting in the police department. At the same time, he had defended Sachin Waje, saying that Sachin Waje is not a laden. If like this, without taking action, the Chief Minister will remain silent, then there will be an undue suspicion that he had his blessings on all these cases. The CM should take action keeping the value of his family. However, the silence of the Chief Minister is astonishing.
