In Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, on Saturday, several Hindu organizations protested fiercely in connection with the arrest of three people with beef a day earlier. According to the police, there was a ruckus after stone pelting at the rally of Hindu organization going out to protest against cow slaughter in the district. In response to the stone pelting, the workers taking out the rally also started pelting stones. After this the atmosphere in the area became tense. In view of this, the police also used sticks to control the crowd.
Actually, this matter is of the city of Khargone district. According to the police officer, at around 12 o’clock on Saturday morning, activists of Hindu organizations were taking out a rally from the main markets to protest against cow slaughter and demand the arrest of the accused. During this, the youth involved in the rally had demanded the cooperation of the traders by closing the shops. Meanwhile, some chaotic elements located near Gaur Pump in the city pelted stones at the rally. After this there was an atmosphere of chaos in the area. Due to which the shopkeepers closed their shops due to panic. On receiving information about the incident, a large number of police forces reached. After that the situation was brought under control.
After the incident, the area was converted into a cantonment.
In this case, Additional SP Neeraj Chaurasia said that the police had to use mild force to control the crowd and a case was registered against about a dozen people for beating up two people, while 200 people were booked for prohibitory orders. accused of infringement. Police sent 3 accused to judicial custody
The ASP said that after the beef was recovered in BIT Road area, 3 people were arrested late on Friday night under section of Prohibition of Cattle Slaughter Act. Along with this, all the three accused have been sent to judicial custody.
