Where the bravery of a mother is being discussed a lot these days, because she played on her life and saved her child from a man-eating leopard. Where the leopard badly injured the child in the attack, but could not take the child. In which the child has suffered serious injuries in the cheek, back and one eye. At the same time, the injured child has been admitted to Kusmi Hospital for treatment. During this, after hearing the screams and local villagers also came to the spot, due to which the leopard had to leave its prey and run away.
Actually, this case is of Bari Jharia village of Tumsar range of Sanjay Tiger buffer zone of Kusumi block in Sidhi district. According to forest department officials, Kiran Baiga, wife of Shankar Baiga, a resident of Bari Jharia village surrounded by mountains on three sides.
Baiga was sitting near the bonfire with her children to avoid the cold late in the evening. While one child was in Kiran’s lap, two children were sitting nearby. Meanwhile, suddenly the leopard attacked. In such a situation, the leopard took a child by pressing it in the mouth. Due to being too dark, she also ran after the leopard. During this, Kiran was able to save her child by going after the leopard for about 1 km. Kiran told in relation to the incident that after going away, the leopard sat down pressing his child with its claws.
Mother saved the girl by playing on her life
In this case, the victim Kiran told that she took her courage to somehow free her child from the possession of the leopard and started making noise. In such a situation, the leopard also attacked him many times, but by then the people of the local village also reached the spot. When the crowd gathered, the leopard ran away from the forest side. Forest officer Tiger Reserve Tamsar Sidhi Asim Bhuria told about the incident that after getting the information, the team of the department reached the village and the injured child was immediately admitted to Kusmi Hospital for treatment.
The forest department will bear the full cost of the treatment of the injured child.
Let us inform that in this case, the forest officer said that in the leopard attack, the children have suffered serious injuries in the back, cheeks and eyes. Presently he is undergoing treatment at Kusmi Hospital. He said that the entire cost of the treatment of the injured child would be borne by the Forest Department. Along with this, the local district administration has also provided assistance to the victim’s family.
