Bageshwar Baba: He is an eligible bachelor, and she has marched 1,300 kilometres on foot in order to meet him. She is an unknown MBBS student who appears smitten, and he has thousands of admirers both online and offline. She is a generic bhajan singer, he is the head of Bageshwar Dham.
The Influential Spiritual Leader with a Cult Following
Though the majority of people would be familiar with Bageshwar Baba Dhirendra Shastri, many would ask, “Shivranjani Tiwari, who?” For those who are unaware, Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, also known as Baba Bageshwar, is the administrator of Bageshwar Dham in the Madhya Pradesh hamlet of Garha in the Chhatarpur district. He writes scrolls during a ‘divya durbar’ that are rumoured to reveal a person’s past and wishes. Dhirendra Shastri, who is favoured by prominent leaders in Madhya Pradesh and elsewhere, has developed a kind of cult following. His disciples fill his durbars, and he has millions of following across social media channels. Shivranjani, on the other hand, is a mysterious woman who has overnight become well-known after trekking 1,300 kilometres from Gangotri in Uttarakhand to Bageshwar Dham in Madhya Pradesh. She is from MP’s Jabalpur.

Shivranjani’s Trek to Bageshwar Dham
Shivranjani has hiked up to 40 kilometres each day throughout this sweltering summer. She has started the arduous journey to Bageshwar Dham while wearing saffron clothing and carrying an earthen pot on her head. She has a longing and there is Gangajal in the earthen pot. Shivranjani referred to Dhirendra Shastri as her “prannath” (lord of her life) in a video. However, she has since made an effort to separate herself from the notion that she intends to wed Baba Bageshwar. Shivranjani has been singing bhajans since she was 4 years old, earning the moniker “modern-day Meera.” Is the connection solely platonic? Shivranjani told India Today, “I never dreamt of being married to Peethadhishwar of Bageshwar Dham Sarkar, and I had no wish. She said, “I want to have a scroll with my wishes written on it from Bageshwar Dham Sarkar.

Shivranjani’s Spiritual Attraction to Dhirendra Shastri
Shivranjani had previously claimed that it was because of him that she became attracted to Dhirendrta Shastri in 2021. She says she began singing bhajans at the age of four and identifies herself as a descendant of Shankaracharya Swaroopanand Saraswati. She revealed to India Today that “my mother is a scientist and my father is an IIT engineer.” She remarked, “I visited and offered water at all significant places of worship on the way from Gangotri. On July 16, Shivranjani, who departed from Gangotri on May 1, will arrive at Bageshwar Dham. She had travelled for more than 45 days on foot, surrounded by chants of “Jai Shri Ram.” She had to be hospitalised for treatment because walking in the oppressive heat had taken its toll. But Shivranjani must overcome more obstacles than just the heat. The eternal bachelor Lord Hanuman is a deity to Dhirendra Shastri. Shivranjani and her quest are well known to Dhirendra Shastri. He has, in fact, answered a question about that in his distinctively funny way. Shivranjani isn’t even at Dhirendra Shahstri’s Bageshwar Dham on June 16, when he’s supposed to arrive. Bageshwar Baba is in Bengaluru for a spiritual event and would reportedly begin ‘ekanthwaas’ (go into seclusion) after that. He’ll probably only make his way back on July 24 after hosting a “divya durbar” in Bhopal. He avoids locations where he perceives any risk and keeps his timetable flexible.
