In Lakhimpur Violence, Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Violence, there is a ruckus across the state due to the death of eight people in a violent incident after a clash between farmers and the minister’s son. Now farmer leader Darshan Pal has described the Lakhimpur violence as a well thought out and pre-planned conspiracy. He said in a statement that the Lakhimpur Kheri incident is part of an already hatched conspiracy. The attackers have tried to terrorize the farmers.
Darshan Pal said that the government is putting all its efforts to save the culprits of Lakhimpur Kheri. This is a very wrong attitude of the government. Due to this, there is a lot of anger among the farmers towards the government. He told that now the farmers cannot wait any longer. In this meeting, there will be pressure on the government to resign the Union Minister of State Ajay Mishra responsible for the incident and arrest the other accused including his son.
Martyr Farmer’s Day will be celebrated on 12 October
Darshan Pal told that on October 12, Shaheed Kisan Diwas will be celebrated. SKM urged farmers across the country as well as UP to remember their sacrifice by lighting 5 candles in front of their homes to pay tribute to the 5 farmers killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri farmer massacre. All India Rail Roko Andolan will be launched across the country on 18th October to put pressure on the government. This rail roko movement will run from 10 am to 4 pm.
Trying to put pressure on the government through agitation
Farmer leader Pal said that he does not want to disturb the people of the country, but has to do so to reach his voice to this deaf and dumb government. By increasing the agitation across the country, pressure will be created on the government for the resignation of the Union Minister and the arrest of other accused including his son.
