The new and old restrictions will remain in effect till 30 April. Schools and educational institutions were closed under the old restrictions. Under the new restrictions, shopkeepers have been given some relief in shopping malls, as the Chief Minister has allowed entry of at most 10 people to one shop at a time, whereas at first, more than 100 persons have been allowed to enter the entire mall Was denied According to the statement, according to the new instructions, now 200 people will be allowed to go to a mall, where there are 20 shops, at one time.
2,924 new cases surfaced in the state in a day
On Tuesday, 62 people died of corona in the state, while 2,924 new cases have been reported. With this, the number of positive cases has increased to 2,57,057 in the state. In the review meeting on the condition of Corona, the Chief Minister has expressed concern over the high positivity rate and rising mortality rate.
He has said that he has no option but to take these stringent measures to control the growing cases of Corona. He said that till April 30, there will be a ban on any social, cultural and sports events and other events.
