PM Kisan mandhan scheme: Most of the farmers who have registered in the Kisan Pension Scheme are in the age group of 26 to 35 years. Know in which states the maximum number of farmers were involved. Why the scheme is a profitable deal for the farmers.
So far 22,69,892 farmers of the country have joined the Modi government’s Kisan Pension Yojana. In this, 6,77,214 women farmers are also included. That is, so many farmers have secured their old age. In this, 18 years old farmer will have to pay Rs 55 and 40 years old will have to pay Rs 200 premium. The central government is paying half the premium in this scheme. Not only this, you can also come out of this scheme whenever you want. You will get simple interest on the deposited money.
Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Jammu and Kashmir have the maximum number of farmers who have joined this scheme. While the farmers of some states are not showing any interest in this. However, agricultural experts say that this scheme is a profitable deal for the farmers as there is no compulsion to pay the full premium in it. There is no fee for its registration. The maximum number of farmers who have registered under the scheme are in the age group of 26 to 35 years.
Goal doesn’t seem to be met
Under PM Kisan Manadhan Yojana, 5 crore farmers were to be included in the first phase. But till now even 50 lakh farmers have not shown interest in this scheme. Whereas this scheme was formally launched on 12 September 2019. The registration started on 9th August 2019. However, even now the government wants all 12 crore small and marginal farmers to be involved in this.
Money will be deducted from PM Kisan Scheme
According to the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, if any farmer brother-sister is taking advantage of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, then he will not have to give any other paper for Kisan Pension Scheme other than Aadhaar card. He can directly pay the premium of the pension scheme out of 6000 rupees received under the PM-Kisan scheme. That is, he does not need to spend money from himself. Pension will be available after 60 years of age.

How will the registration
Registration will be done at Common Service Center (CSC).
Aadhar card is mandatory.
Khasra-Khatauni will be copied.
Only 2 photographs and a copy of the bank passbook will have to be given.
Only farmers having maximum 5 acres of cultivation are eligible for this scheme.
