Union Minister Prahlad Joshi.
During the election campaign in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi sought an explanation from the CPI (M) and the Congress about the Sabarimala issue. He said that CPM and Congress should clarify their stand on this issue. Along with this, he claimed that there is confusion between the two parties on this issue and both are not responding because they want votes. He said that the Congress national and state leadership’s stance on the Sabarimala issue is different.
Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said that Annie Raja of CPI (CPI) had said that he is with the action taken by the CPI (CPI (M)) government. This means that as far as the issue of women entry is concerned, they will support it. He said that he is a part of the government. With this, he said that both the parties are completely confused about this issue.
The target is also aimed at the Chief Minister
Prahlad Joshi targeted both the parties and said that they want to vote and do not want to react. In the Sabarimala case, the attitude of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee and the national leadership of the Congress is different. There is factionalism between UDF and LDF. In this scenario, BJP has become an option to bring development in the state. He also targeted Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and said that the Communist leader has not yet answered the questions asked by Union Home Minister Amit Shah at the recent election rally.
Why is there no arrest in the gold smuggling case so far
Shah questioned Vijayan whether the main accused in the gold smuggling case worked in his office. Shah repeated those questions once again at an election rally in Wayanad district on Saturday. Vijayan had said that people know the answers to Shah’s questions and questioned why those who had sent gold through diplomatic goods were not arrested even after nine months.
Joshi said, “The Chief Minister’s silence on the questions asked by the Union Home Minister can be considered an admission by him.” The Chief Minister is unable to tell about the main accused in the gold smuggling case. People are expecting a reply from the Chief Minister. He demanded a reply from Pinarayi Vijayan.
