Senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh (Jairam Ramesh) on Wednesday targeted the BJP and the ruling CPI (M) -led LDF (LDF) in Kerala. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi (CM Narendra Modi) and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan (CM Pinarayi Vijayan) are two sides of the same coin. Taking a dig at Vijayan, he said that it is impossible to maintain the democratic spirit of the state in the event of a government being formed under his leadership. Ramesh is in Kerala for the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) campaign. Rajya Sabha member Ramesh said that people should vote for his party as the Congress party will be strengthened at the national level only through victory in Kerala.
Jairam Ramesh said, “Kerala has to maintain its democratic traditions and spirit. This is impossible with the current Chief Minister (Vijayan) as the Chief Minister and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are two sides of the same coin. Why should the people of Kerala vote for the Congress party? First, a vote for the Congress is a vote for the UDF and democracy. Only his party can compete with BJP and Modi at the Center. ”
‘Congress can remove Modi in 2024’
