Congress leader Rahul Gandhi

On Monday, former Kerala MP Joyce George had allegedly made objectionable statements against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, a big controversy had arisen. Expressing great displeasure, the Congress had also talked about making a complaint in the Election Commission. On this, George accepted his mistake on Wednesday and apologized and said, “I have publicly apologized when I realized that the rhetoric on my side was wrong.”

He added, “Not only this, this incident has made me realize the need to be careful not only in public speeches, but also in private conversations.” Let me tell you that George, who won the independent Lok Sabha election from Idukki as an independent in 2014 with the support of the CPI (M), made a very objectionable remark against Rahul Gandhi while addressing an election public meeting in Irattar on Monday. The Congress (Congress) strongly condemned Joyce George’s statement.

It was said that a case should be registered and arrested

Leader of Opposition in the Kerala Legislative Assembly Ramesh Chennithal said on Tuesday that he should be arrested by registering a case against the former MP. At the same time, MP and Youth Congress leader D. Kuriakose condemned former MP George, saying, “The stupidity inside him has now come out.” He said that the former MP not only insulted Gandhi but also insulted the girl students. He said that he would soon go to the Election Commission and complain to George.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan kept away from the case

At the same time, moving away from the statement, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that the Left Democratic Front (LDF) is not in tune with the personal remarks made on Rahul Gandhi. “We will oppose him politically and not personally,” he told reporters in Kasargod. Voting will be held in one phase on April 6 for 140 assembly seats in Kerala and counting of votes on May 2. . Regarding this, the promotion of the leaders is going on loudly.
