CM Yogi to flag off metro trial in Kanpur today
CM Yogi Adityanath will leave the metro train for trial run by pressing the button in the metro depot at Gurudev intersection at 10 am today. During this, he will also take stock of the facilities available in the coaches and the arrangements of the platforms. CM will also address the public in the depot premises itself.
In this, prominent industrialists of the city, directors of educational institutions, directors, officers of police and administration, public representatives and media people will also participate. There is a seating arrangement for 500 people. After flagging off the trial of Metro, CM Yogi will also hold a meeting for the prevention of Zika infection in the KDA auditorium. After this, CM will also visit the area affected by Zika virus in Chakeri area and interact with the local people. Will fly from Chakeri Airport to Agra at 12.30 pm.
Administration preparing for
On Tuesday, before the trial run, the officers of the metro and district administration were busy in preparations. The train was seen running at maximum speed on both the tracks of Metro in a distance of 9 km from IIT to Motijheel. After the trial of the metro train starts on Wednesday, the Research Design and Standards Organization will monitor it for about six weeks. In this, tests will be done regarding the suspension of the train, vibration and speed during operation etc. After this, passenger services will be allowed after taking approval from the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety.
There will be a meeting regarding Zika virus
After flagging off the trial of CM Metro train, KDA will hold a meeting in the auditorium for the prevention of Zika infection. In this, Medical Education Minister, Medical and Health Minister, Additional Chief Secretary Medical and Health, Principal Secretary Medical Education, Divisional Commissioner, District Magistrate, Municipal Commissioner, Principal of Medical College and CMO will be present.
According to the information, the CM will land at the CSA helipad at 9:35 am. After this, from 9:50 to 10:20, Gurudev will flag off the trial run at the depot at the crossroads. Will inspect the Integrated Control Command Center located in the Municipal Corporation from 10:30 to 10:45. After this, from 10:50 to 11:40, there will be a review meeting regarding the prevention of Zika virus. At the same time, at 12:30, there will be a flight from Chakeri Airport to Agra.
