Farming has to be done by understanding what the consumer wants
Senior Agricultural Scientist Dr. Jagveer Rawat told that the farmers can be made prosperous by taking benefits of the agricultural schemes of the government. Before doing farming, it has to be understood that what does the consumer want from the producer? This issue was seriously explained to the farmers. It was also emphasized in this workshop that farmers should choose cultivation of such crops so that risk is less. The impact of the weather was minimal. In as many villages as possible, efforts will be made to connect farmers to the Never Say Goodbye campaign.
Facilities available through FPO
PS Ojha, advisor to the FPO cell in the Uttar Pradesh government, said that in the coming times, the government will give the benefit of more and more agricultural schemes to the farmers through FPOs. This will reduce the cost of cultivation and the products will get a good market. This will make the farmer self-reliant. Farmers can grow more by doing farming through FPO. At least 300 farmers are required in an FPO.
Farming is a challenge in Bundelkhand
Farming is not easy in Bundelkhand. Because there is a severe water crisis here. In most areas, farmers are unable to do good farming due to lack of water. Therefore, the income of the farmers here is less. Now the government is focusing on the cultivation of less water crops here. Including pulses and oilseed crops. At present, some FPOs are trying to increase the income of the farmers. So that farmers do not have to take any unpleasant step.
