Amidst the decreasing cases of Corona (Covid-19), the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has decided to once again open the religious places of the state. Many important decisions have been taken in the meeting of the Disaster Management Authority chaired by CM Hemant Soren. In this, a decision has been taken from schools to religious places and restaurants. The government has made it clear that only those religious places will open in the state which are outside the Containment Zone. All religious places coming inside the Containment Zone will remain closed.
At the same time, during Durga Puja, the ban on darshan in pandals will continue, prasad will not be distributed, but worship will be allowed. The idols are allowed to be raised to a maximum height of 5 feet. Along with this, entry of a person below 18 years is not required. There will be no food stall or cart nearby. There will be no immersion procession. Immersion will be done at the place identified by the district administration. No person will be without a mask at any time in the pandal.

Permission has been given for the entry of devotees at religious places. It will be mandatory for all concerned to take at least one vaccine from the operation at the religious place. Only 50% of the devotees will be able to gather at religious places
Permission was given to assemble at the religious place in 50% of the capacity of the place. Social distancing will be mandatory. There will be no entry without a mask. Along with this, Durga Puja pandals will not be based on any theme. The pandal will be surrounded from three sides. Bhog will not be distributed. Invitation cards will not be distributed by the worship committee. Attractive lighting will be restricted except for essential lighting. Cultural programs like Garba, Dandiya etc. will be banned.
