In fact, on Monday, the State Election Commissioner held a meeting with all the District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police through video conferencing and inquired about the preparations for the elections. During this, he gave many important instructions to the subordinates. He has asked to complete all the election related works before the festivals. Instructions have been given to start a website related to Panchayat elections in every district, so that important information can be accessible.
The blueprint for deployment of security forces is also ready in view of the elections.
Significantly, State Election Commissioner DK Tiwari said that preparations are being made at about 20 points in every district. He told that especially he has asked to complete the work of Voter List with photo at the earliest. Along with this, many instructions were given to the superintendents of police regarding peaceful elections and a blueprint for deployment of security forces was also prepared to conduct peaceful elections. At the same time, the deputation of election officers ARO, RO will be completed soon.
State government will conduct panchayat elections in December or January
Let us inform that during this time the state government is preparing to conduct the elections of three-tier Panchayati Raj Institutions in December. Earlier due to Corona period, Panchayat elections could not be held in the state last year. It is believed that if the situation of corona in the state remains under control, panchayat elections can be held in the state in December or January next year.
