Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya at the program of Delhi AIIMS
Last Saturday was the foundation day of AIIMS, in which Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had reached. During this, he spoke on medical standards in his address.
AIIMS (AIIMS) i.e. All India Institute of Medical Sciences will transfer doctors? Has Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya given any such order or direction? A newspaper cutting on WhatsApp is going viral for 1-2 days, in which such a claim is being made. In such a situation, there is confusion going on in the minds of people.
Actually, last Saturday was the foundation day of AIIMS i.e. All India Institute of Medical Sciences, in which Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had reached. During this, he spoke on medical standards in his address. After this such news was published in a newspaper that the doctors of Delhi AIIMS would go to the new AIIMS.

In the newspaper cutting which is going viral, a lot has been written quoting the Union Minister. The news claimed, “The Union Minister expects the doctors of Delhi AIIMS to go to the new AIIMS and the doctors of the new AIIMS to come to Delhi. With this move, the doctors of the new AIIMS will be aware of the medical standards of Delhi AIIMS and at the same time, the standard of treatment in AIIMS across the country will be uniform. Further work is to be done in this direction.
PIB denied the claim
There is a fact check wing of the government information agency PIB – PIB FactCheck. It keeps alerting about such fake claims from time to time and tells the truth about them. PIB has also told the truth of this claim.
PIB tweeted from its fact check Twitter handle and wrote, “It is claimed that Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that the Central Government will transfer doctors of Delhi AIIMS to implement uniform medical standards in all AIIMS across the country. going to do it.”
Further PIBFactCheck has written that this claim is misleading. The Union Health Minister has not made any such statement.
