The press release further stated that the revised designation is more in line with their existing duties and responsibilities and will improve the motivation level of the guards who are now ‘train managers’. Prior to this, keeping in mind the facilities of rail passengers, Indian Railways is constantly making necessary changes in its services. In this episode, Northern Railway and Western Railway have announced changes in some train services, so that better and comfortable service can be provided to the passengers. Northern Railway has said that the unreserved train running from Shakurbasti in Delhi to Palwal in Haryana will now be run till Mathura Junction in Uttar Pradesh.

Shakurbasti-Palwal unreserved train will go till Mathura
On the other hand, Western Railway has announced to restart Maharashtra Sampark Kranti. Western Railway has said that this train will be run from January 26 till further orders. Northern Railway has issued a press release stating that train number 04446, Shakurbasti-Palwal unreserved mail/express train will be run from January 31 to Mathura Junction. According to Northern Railway, this train will depart from Shakurbasti in Delhi at 06.20 pm and will reach Palwal at 08.16 pm the same day. This train will depart from Palwal at 08.18 PM and will reach Mathura Junction at 10.35 PM on the same day.
Between Palwal and Mathura Junction, this train will stop at Rundhi, Sholaka, Banchari, Hodal, Kosi Kalan, Chhata, Ajai, Vrindavan Road and Bhuteshwar stations. There is no change in stoppage and timing of this train from Shakurbasti to Palwal. The Western Railway Zone of Indian Railways has announced to re-run Maharashtra Sampark Kranti keeping in mind the facilities of the passengers. This train will run on the tracks again from January 26 and will provide its services till further orders.
