America’s top health expert and White House Chief Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci has said that India should seek cooperation from other countries to speed up the process of vaccination.
Describing India as one of the best vaccine manufacturers, Fauci said that India is a country with a large population. In such a situation, only a few percent people are those who have taken both the doses of vaccination. At the same time, 10 percent or more people have taken the first dose. In such a situation, India will have to prepare in collaboration with other countries and other companies to speed up the process of vaccination.
Speaking to the news agency ANI on the second wave of Corona that came in the country, Fauci said, “Providing adequate facilities for the treatment of infected people was an issue on which immediate action was to be taken. America then helped with things like oxygen, oxygen cylinders, oxygen generators, PPE and Remedesvir. But then according to the long run, you have to think how to give vaccine to as many people as possible. “
Dr. Fauci spoke on many other issues. When he was asked to resume his journey from America to India, he said, it depends on the state of the infection. In India, the infection rate is very high at this time and this means that it is very difficult for India to resume the journey at this time.
