According to an India Today report, Dr. Randeep Guleria said that if the corona epidemic continues to grow in the same way and succeeds in developing an immune escape mechanism, then India may have to face the third wave of corona.
Doctor Guleria has said that if the virus infection is to be prevented, then a lockdown is needed for a sufficient period. According to the report, Guleria said, “Three things need to be seen at this time. Improving the infrastructure of hospitals, preventing corona cases and speeding up vaccination operations. We have to break the chain of transition. If we are able to reduce the close contact of the people, then the corona cases will also be reduced.
