The Delhi High Court has directed the Aam Government to set up more testing centers in the national capital. In the past few days, more than 24 thousand cases of corona infection are coming out in Delhi. Chief Justice DN Patel and Justice Jasmeet Singh have also directed the Delhi government to make necessary arrangements for streamlining the sample collection process.
Many lawyers told the bench that they are facing difficulties in conducting the investigation as the laboratories say that they will collect the samples after two-three days. On this, the court has given this order. The lawyers claimed that more than one lakh investigations were being done in the first day, which has now reduced to 60 thousand daily.
Hospital not adamant about showing corona test report
At the same time, the High Court has directed Delhi hospitals to ask for corona positive test report during hospitalization, that no hospital insists on giving RT-PCR positive report while recruiting patients. The Delhi government told the court that its health department had issued a circular on 23 April directing the city hospitals not to insist on the submission of Kovid positive test report while recruiting patients with symptoms of corona virus infection.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced on Monday that the government will provide free vaccine to people above 18 years of age in Delhi city and for this, the purchase of 1.34 crore vaccine doses has been approved. Kejriwal said that the price of corona vaccine should be the same and he appealed to the central government to reduce the prices.
350 patients died in Delhi on the previous day
Kejriwal appealed to the vaccine manufacturers to reduce prices and said that it is time to help humanity, not to make profit. Meanwhile, 22,933 new cases of corona infection were reported in Delhi on Sunday. While a total of 350 patients died during this period. The positivity rate in the national capital is 30.21 percent.
Apart from this, the recovery rate is 89.40 percent, the active patient rate is 9.20 percent, the death rate is 1.39 percent and the positivity rate is 30.21 percent. The total corona cases in Delhi are 10,27,715. At the same time, in the last 24 hours, 21,071 patients were discharged after recovering, after which the total number of people recovered in Delhi has increased to 9,18,875.
