In such a situation, it becomes very important for fish farmers to know which diseases occur in fish and what are the measures to prevent them.

Saprologenosis

Symptoms: Brownish clusters of whitish color appear on the body like cotton balls.
Treatment: Dip for 1-5 minutes in a solution of 1:1000 potassium in 3% common salt solution or 1:2000 concentration solution of copper sulphate and then put it in the pond. In small ponds, put one gram malachite green in 5-10 m of water. This is an effective treatment.

banchiomycosis

Symptoms: The diseased fish tries to drink air on the upper surface due to rotting of the gills, suffocation. Opens and closes mouth repeatedly.
Treatment: Prevention of pollution, raising the level of water in the pond with fresh water or using 50-100 kg/ha of lime or bathing in 3-5 percent salt solution or copper at the rate of 8 kg/ha in 0.5 m depth ponds. Using sulfate.

Treatment: Use of Potash 2-3 ppm, Terramycin 70-80 mg per kg of fish weight (up to 10 days), Streptomycin at 25 mg per kg body weight. Injection.

Treatment: Every day for 7-10 days, use of 200 ppm Fargillon solution, bathing hours, for more than 7 days, use of 2% ordinary solution,

Trichodinosis and schizophrenia

Symptoms: Difficulty in respiration, restless rubbing of the body on the banks of the pond, excessive synovial discharge on the skin and gills, all over the body
Treatment: In 2-3% common salt solution (up to 5-10 minutes), 10 ppm copper sulphate solution, 20-25 ppm formalin.

Myxosporodiosis

Symptoms: Mustard rash on skin, pectoralis, gills and upperculum
Treatment: In 0.1 ppm formalin, dip 1-2 equal white cells in 50 ppm formalin, 15-25 ppm formalin in the pond every other day, till the disease is over, more sick fish should be killed and the fish should be shifted to another pond. should be transferred to.

Symptoms: Excessive mucus, discharge, difficulty in breathing and excitement

Dactylogarylosis and Gyrodactylosis (Trematodes)

Symptoms: The outbreak occurs on the gills and skin and black colored cells in the body.
Treatment: Give a bath in a solution of 500 ppm potash O (Gkdvad) for 5 minutes alternately in 1:2000, acetic acid and sodium chloride 2% solution.

Diplostomiasis or black spot disease

Symptoms: Dark spots on the body
Treatment: The life cycle of the parasite should be broken. snares or birds

Ligulosis

Symptoms: The abdomen becomes swollen due to the accumulation of worms.
Treatment: The life cycle of the parasite should be broken, for this, the entry of organisms associated with the life cycle, snails or birds, is prohibited in the pond, immersion in 1:500 phylline solution for 10 minutes, use of 1-3 percent salt solution.

Argulesis

Symptoms: Weak deformed appearance, red small spots on the body, etc.
Treatment: Spraying of lime at the rate of 0.1-0.2 g/litre, two to three times in a fortnight is best after removing the pond water for 24 hours. Dissolve 35 ml Cypermethin drug in 100 liters of water and use it thrice in a pond at the rate of 1 hectare at an interval of 5-5 days.

laryniasis (anchor worm disease) fish

Symptoms: Anemia, weakness and spots on the body in fishes
Treatment: Use of 1 ppm gamexin due to mild disease infection or use of bromos 50 in the pond at the rate of 0.12 ppm

Other Diseases EUS (Appropriate) Ulcerative Syndrome
