The IMA in its suggestion to the government said that all people above the age of 18 years should be vaccinated.
A campaign to make more and more people aware of the corona vaccine is also being run in many places. In such a situation, a similar initiative has been seen in the city of Rajkot in Gujarat.
The Indian Medical Association has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Narendra Modi) regarding accelerating the vaccination program (Corona Vaccination) in view of the daily increasing cases of corona infection in the country. In a letter, the association appealed to PM Modi to stop the spread of corona and give vaccine doses to more people and expedite the vaccination program.
In a letter written to the Prime Minister, the association appealed that all people above 18 years of age be included in the vaccination process. The IMA wrote in the letter that the second wave of the epidemic is breaking all previous records. This can be gauged from the fact that more than 1 lakh cases of corona infection occurred on Sunday (February 4), which is the highest number in all the figures since the onset of the epidemic.

It was written in the letter that the number of active cases in the country is also increasing continuously. There are currently 7,88,223 active cases in the country. At the same time, 8,31,10,926 people have been given the dose of corona vaccine. Of these 43,00,966 people were vaccinated on Monday.
The association said that right now we are vaccinating all people above 45 years of age. But given the effect of the speed of the second wave of Corona, we suggest that the vaccination program should be expedited. The Indian Medical Association, in its suggestion to the government, said that vaccination of all people above the age of 18 years should be done so that the spread of corona could be prevented and immunity could be developed among the people to fight against it.
