According to the information, on Thursday afternoon, the bank staff along with security personnel came to the HDFC ATM machine located in Kukatpally area to pay money. As the bank employees were moving towards the ATM machine with the security personnel from the vehicle, the thieves opened fire on the security personnel and ran away by snatching Rs 5 lakh from them. It is being told that the miscreants fired 3 rounds. An employee posted near the ATM center also tried to stop him, but he was unsuccessful. In this incident, the two heavily injured security personnel were admitted to the hospital. One security personnel died in the hospital while the other is undergoing treatment.
Suspicion of involvement of an interstate gang in crime
Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjan arrived there soon after the incident. He said that all the accused who were engaged in this crime, all will be traced. All are being questioned about this incident, as well as the help of CCTV in finding and apprehending criminals. He has also expressed doubts that an inter-state gang is involved in this incident.
At the same time, a person present on the spot told the police that two youth were riding on a black Pulsar bike. At the same time, people of the nearby shops also ran at the time of the incident, but the miscreants threatened them with weapons, threw stones at them and ran away.
