After 5,892 new cases of Kovid-19 in Telangana, the total cases have crossed 4.81 lakh, while the number has increased to 2,625 after the death of 46 more people. After the recovery of 9,122 patients in the state in the last 24 hours, the total number of people recovering from the infection has exceeded four lakhs.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has reported the highest number of 1,104 cases. After this, 443 cases have been found in Rangareddy and 378 cases in Medchal Malkajgiri. 73,851 people are still in the grip of infection in the state and about 76 thousand samples have been tested on Thursday. The number of infected people in the state has increased to 4,81,640 while the total number of healthy people is 4,05,164.
In all, about 1.34 crore samples have been tested. It was told in the bulletin that about 3.60 lakh samples have been tested per million. The death rate due to infection in the state is 0.54 percent whereas at the national level this rate is 1.1 percent. The rate of recovery in Telangana is 84.12 percent whereas in the country this rate is 81.9 percent.
