There is a possibility of heavy rain fall in Himachal Pradesh in the coming days. The Meteorological Department has issued a Yellow Alert in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, hailstorm, strong winds and storms are expected in many places in the state. Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, is thickly clouded, due to which the temperature of the capital Shimla has recorded a significant drop.
Explain that the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains on the day of polling on April 7, in view of the municipal elections in Himachal Pradesh. At the same time, on April 7, the administration has issued a yellow alert in Kullu, Shimla and Sirmaur for wind speed and hailstorm at a speed of 40 km per hour. In such a situation, there is a possibility of heavy rains in most districts of the state.
Temperature drop recorded
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of snowfall in the high altitude areas on 6 and 7 April in the state, whereas heavy rainfall is expected in most places in the lower areas. The Western Disturbance has become increasingly active since Sunday, causing heavy snowfall on the peaks. Most areas of the state have recorded a temperature drop of around 4 degree Celsius due to dense cloud cover after noon.
