The higher education department is preparing the content.
Under the Higher Education Department of Madhya Pradesh, e-content of 17 major subjects of all departments is being prepared for the first year courses. According to the information, there is a plan to prepare more than 1 thousand e-content models by November 10. The target is to create e-content of around 1500 modules for the first year. After this, content will be prepared on some other subjects as well. Madhya Pradesh will probably be the first state in the country to provide e-content on the basis of National Education Policy 2020, where college students will get e-material for studies apart from course books.
This e-content will be available through online mode. The content being prepared will be available for video lectures, e-texts, assessment questions and other content as per the rules of the University Grants Commission. According to the information, this work is being done free of cost by regular teachers, guest scholars. Applications were received from about 1400 teachers for this work. A 6-day faculty development program was organized for these teachers in 7 benches.
E-content will be prepared on these topics
In this, a total of 1056 teachers have been successfully issued the certificate of FDP. Selected teachers will be selected in 17 subjects- Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Sanskrit, English Literature, Base syllabus, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Sociology, History, Geo-Gramshastra, Hindi, Commerce, Textile and The task of preparing the content has been entrusted by dividing the clothing course at the module level.
Due to less number of teachers in other subjects, applications are being called again. Apart from this, e-content is also being prepared on optional subjects along with main and other subjects. E-content will be prepared for the subjects of professional courses as and when the syllabus is available.
