Haryana: Corona bomb exploded in Rohtak’s PGIMS, 193 frontline workers found so far in April

Corona Infected includes 51 doctors, 43 staff nurses, 18 paramedics, 25 bearers and sweepers, 19 ministerial staff and 37 students (mostly junior doctors).

In April, 193 Frontline Workers of the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) in Rohtak (Rohtak), Haryana (Hariyana) have been found to have Covid-19 Positives so far in April. The corona infected included 51 doctors, 43 staff nurses, 18 paramedics, 25 bearers and sweepers, 19 ministerial staff and 37 students (mostly junior doctors).

According to data provided by PGIMS spokesperson Dr Gajendar Singh, 32 people, including 29 doctors, a staff nurse and two paramedical staff were found infected in Corona in January this year. In March, 41 people were found infected, including 35 doctors, five staff nurses and a paramedical staff. He said, “In the second wave, 266 personnel of our institute were found to be infected with the virus. Of these, 193 cases were reported in the last 16 days. These cases are high on October last year. A total of 502 frontline workers were found infected from September to December last year. “

315 doctors infected between September and December last year.

According to official figures, 315 doctors were infected between September and December last year and 115 have been found so far this year. 95 staff nurses were found positive last year and 49 positive this year. This year 21 last year and 52 paramedical staff were infected this year. 29 beers and sweepers have been infected in the past year and 25 so far. 11 ministerial staff were infected last year and 19 this year.

New guidelines to stop the spread of Kovid-19

The Haryana government on Friday announced new guidelines to stop the spread of Kovid-19, ordering the closure of schools, colleges and coaching institutes by 30 April and limiting the number of passengers and people in the programs in vehicles. Officials said that all schools, colleges, coaching institutes, industrial training institutes, libraries and training institutes, whether government or private, would remain closed till April 30. The admission process and other administrative work in schools will continue as before.
