Due to this there has been a shortage of ventilators in the civil hospitals of Surat. In view of the shortage of ventilators in hospitals, the government had ordered to send 34 ventilators from Valsad city. But the disastrous attitude of the government machinery was clearly seen here. The Surat Municipal Corporation sent a garbage pickup vehicle to bring 34 ventilators. Surprisingly, the Valsad administration also lifted the ventilator from the hospital and loaded it in the garbage vehicles. The authorities have maintained silence since the matter came to light.
Ventilator demand increased in Surat

With the increase in the number of positive patients here, the number of patients kept on oxygen is also increasing continuously. In the last 2 days, there has been a demand for 4 thousand small cylinders and 6 thousand big cylinders in the city. Please tell that in Surat, corona infected cases have crossed 67 thousand. Most patients do not have a home isolation situation, so patients are being admitted to the hospital for treatment. Due to which the demand for oxygen is also increasing.

Demand for oxygen cylinders has become double
The demand for oxygen in Surat is around 200 tonnes. Those who supply oxygen cylinders in the city’s hospitals say that there was a demand for 3500 oxygen cylinders in the city three days ago. Which has now increased to 6000 cylinders. 388 patients are undergoing treatment at Surat’s Civil Hospital. The condition of 300 of these patients is said to be critical. Out of which 18 are placed on ventilator support. While 82 are placed on BiPop and 200 on oxygen. While 241 patients are undergoing treatment in the smear hospital. Out of which 208 patients are in critical condition. Of these, 13 have been placed on ventilators, 42 on BiPipe and 154 on oxygen.
