In such a situation, the Gujarat government has decided to organize special vaccination campaign camps (COVID vaccination camps), keeping in mind the safety of the students as well as the safety of teachers and school staff. Schools in Gujarat are opening from 2nd September
The Gujarat government has given permission to reopen schools with 50 per cent capacity from September 2 for classes VI to VIII. However, the system of online classes will also continue with this. The Vijay Rupani government has announced this on Wednesday. At the same time, the state government last month allowed the reopening of schools for students of classes 9 to 11 with 50 percent capacity.
Education Ministry will also encourage vaccination of teachers across the country
The Ministry of Education will also encourage teachers across the country to get vaccinated. The cooperation of all the state governments will also be taken by the central government in the vaccination of teachers. Under the scheme of the central government, teachers of all schools will be given priority in vaccination before Teacher’s Day i.e. 5th September. This time, in addition to the vaccines that the states get every month, the central government is going to provide 2 crore additional vaccines. So that there is no hindrance in the vaccination campaign of teachers.
