In fact, three civilians were injured when a grenade was hurled at a police vehicle by terrorists near Rajpora Chowk in Pulwama city. An official said that suspected terrorists lobbed a grenade at a police vehicle near Shaheed Park, though the grenade exploded on the road itself.
According to the information received from the officials, three passers-by were injured in the attack, who have been taken to the hospital for treatment. He said that at present the search has been started for the assailants who unknown the incident and the area has also been cordoned off to nab them.
The attack was also done on 19 August.
Earlier on August 19, three people, including two policemen, were injured in a grenade attack by terrorists on security forces in Saraf Kadal area of Srinagar. Giving this information here, the officials said that the terrorists hurled a grenade at the vehicle of the security forces at around 9.20 pm at Saraf Kadal in the old city.
He had told that two policemen and a civilian were injured in the incident after which the injured were taken to the hospital where their condition is stated to be stable.
At the same time, yesterday i.e. on 8th August also, the Srinagar Police stopped a major incident from happening. In fact, security forces foiled a conspiracy of terrorists in Srinagar Bemina area. Only yesterday, six grenades kept in sand bags were recovered in that area. At the same time, security has been increased there since the grenade was found.
