Government encouraging to open rice mill
To double the income of the farmers of Jharkhand and to provide benefits of government schemes to the farmers of the state. Hemant Sarkar is working. Along with this, the goal of the state government is that farmers can get the right price for their produce. On the instructions of the Chief Minister, in order to provide an opportunity to the hardworking farmers of the state to get a fair price for their produce, directed to take an initiative to strengthen the rice production so that the farmers could get their fair price. For this, work has been started on behalf of JIADA to encourage investors to open new mills by providing land to rice mills at concessional rates.
It is worth mentioning that recently Chief Minister Hemant Soren laid the foundation stone of rice mills in Palamu, Garhwa, Simdega, Khunti, Gumla, Latehar, West Singhbhum, Dhanbad, Bokaro and Godda so that farmers of Jharkhand can get good price of paddy. . Rice can be produced in the state itself. At present there are 16 rice mills in Jharkhand where rice is made. 1028 people have got direct employment from all these mills. Jharkhand is a prosperous state with agricultural heritage, and the drivers of its prosperity are hardworking farmers. The continuous progress of these farmers is in the priority of the present government.
Need to link producer groups to the supply chain
On the other hand the state government is working for the level of processing, creation of infrastructure to increase the income of farmers, market place and empowerment of farmers as well as exports. The government aims to connect the producer clusters to the markets through a well-equipped supply chain. At present, Rice Processing Unit-16, Wheat Processing Unit-16, Vegetable and Fruit Processing Unit-4, Milk Processing-5, Bakery Processing-9, Other Food Processing Unit-16, Fodder Processing-11 Unit are working in the state. The setting up of these processing units is supporting the economy of the state and encouraging investors.
Government working to promote investment
The state government is also ensuring the availability of land for promoting investment and setting up industries. For this, 1044 acres of land is available for allotment in the industrial area across the state. Out of 4531.99 acres of land in Adityapur, 237 acres of land, 365.45 acres of land in Ranchi 365 acres, Bokaro 34 acres, 1604.36 acres of land and 406 acres of land in Santhal Pargana 4531.99 acres are for allotment.
