Haryana’s Cooperative Minister Dr. Banwari Lal has said that in the first week of January, 2022, the new plant of cooperative sugar in Panipat will be made operational. He has directed the concerned officer to complete all the works regarding the commissioning of the new plant by January 1, 2022 and take special interest in commissioning this new plant.

Similarly, information regarding the 132 KVA line in Karnal’s Cooperative Sugar Mill was also made available to the Cooperation Minister and higher officials.
60 KLPD ethanol project to be started in Shahabad by 31 October
During the meeting, the Cooperation Minister was apprised that the importance of glucose is important in the production of ethanol, on which the cooperative directed the concerned officers to study the glucose found in millets and potatoes for the production of ethanol. Whether it is possible to produce ethanol from the glucose found in millets and potatoes. At the same time, the officials told the Cooperation Minister that by October 31, 60 KLPD ethanol project would be started in Shahabad. Similarly, capacity progress of sugar mills of Palwal, Sonipat, Kaithal, Jind, Gohana, Meham, Panipat, Rohtak and Assandh etc. were reviewed.
Fix the timeline to achieve the set target
During the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation Department, Sanjeev Kaushal instructed the concerned officers to fix the timeline to achieve the set target and if any third party is not giving work on time, then change that party to another. Get the party done so that time can be saved and the project can be started on time.
While directing the officers, he said that while taking forward the target based work, fix the time period. He said that along with the evaluation of the project, parallel activities should also be carried out by making charts. Kaushal said that it is necessary to run the project in a transparent manner to complete the project on time, so if the project is getting delayed, then work on all those points so that it can be completed on time, reducing the delay in the project.
