Good news for rail passengers: Gwalior-Barauni Festival special train will start from September 15, see time table here

In view of the heavy rush of passengers during the puja, weekly festival special train will be operated between Barauni and Gwalior via Shahpur Patori, Hajipur. Train No. 01901 Gwalior-Barauni Festival Special will be operated on every Friday from 15.10.2021 to 26.11.2021. Similarly train number 01902 Barauni – Gwalior Festival Special will be operated on every Saturday from 16.10.2021 to 27.11.2021. All the coaches of this special train will be of reserved category and the passengers traveling in them will have to follow the precautions of COVID-19.

Train No. 01901 Gwalior – Barauni Festival Special from 15.10.2021 to 26.11.2021 will leave Gwalior at 07.25 hrs on every Friday and halt at various stations Chhapra at 03.05 hrs, Sonpur at 04.30 hrs, Hajipur at 04.42 hrs, Shahpur Patori at 05.20 hrs. It will reach Barauni at 07.00 while stopping.

Train No. 01902 Barauni – Gwalior Festival Special date from 16.10.2021 to 27.11.2021 will leave Barauni at 09.15 hrs on every Saturday and will arrive Shahpur Patori at 10.15 hrs, Hajipur at 11.00 hrs, Sonpur at 11.15 hrs, Chhapra at 13.00 hrs. From here this train will reach Gwalior at 09.30 hrs the next day stopping at various stations. In this special train, a total of 20 coaches including 01 of air-conditioned third class, 10 of sleeper class, 07 of general class and 02 coaches of SLR will be installed.

These trains will run from Delhi

According to the railways, festival special trains will be operated for Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Barauni, Saharsa and Jaynagar stations of East Central Railway from New Delhi/Anand Vihar Terminus. All coaches in these special trains will be of reserved category. Train No. 01676/01675 Anand Vihar – Muzaffarpur – Anand Vihar Terminal Festival Special Express (Two days a week) Festival special train will be operated twice a week between Anand Vihar Terminal and Muzaffarpur from 11.10.2021 to 17.11.2021. Train No. 01676 Anand Vihar – Muzaffarpur Festival Special Express will leave Anand Vihar at 22.50 hrs on every Monday and Wednesday from 11.10.2021 to 17.11.2021 and will arrive Muzaffarpur at 22.00 hrs, the next day.

Train No. 01670/01669 New Delhi-Darbhanga-New Delhi Festival Special Express (Two days a week)- Festival special train will be operated between New Delhi and Darbhanga twice a week from 11.10.2021 to 18.11.2021. Train No. 01670 New Delhi – Darbhanga Festival Special Express will leave New Delhi at 19.25 hrs on Monday and Thursday and will reach Darbhanga at 16.00 hrs the next day, biannually from 11.10.2021 to 18.11.2021.

New Delhi-Barauni Superfast Train

Train No. 01638/01637 New Delhi – Barauni – New Delhi Superfast Festival Special Express (Two days a week) – Superfast Festival Special train will be operated twice a week from 12.10.2021 to 20.11.2021 between New Delhi and Barauni. Train No. 01638 New Delhi – Barauni Superfast Festival Special Express will leave New Delhi at 19.25 hrs on Tuesday and Friday from 12.10.21 to 19.11.21 to reach Barauni at 16.00 hrs the next day. This special train will stop at Hajipur, Chhapra, Siwan, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations in up and down direction between Barauni and New Delhi. In this special train, there will be a total of 20 coaches including 09 sleeper class, 09 general class and 02 SLR coaches.

Train No. 01662/01661 Anand Vihar Terminal-Saharsa-Anand Vihar Terminal Festival Special Express (Two days a week)- Festival Special train will be operated twice a week between Anand Vihar Terminal and Saharsa from 11.10.2021 to 19.11.2021. Train No. 01662 Anand Vihar – Saharsa Festival Special Express will leave Anand Vihar at 11.10 hrs on Monday and Thursday and will reach Saharsa at 11.30 hrs the next day, twice a week from 11.10.2021 to 18.11.2021.
