In this yatra, devotees will be able to visit those places which are associated with Lord Rama. This premium train will travel to different places of worship and sightseeing associated with Lord Rama in the country. Travelers will be able to travel to many Dhams simultaneously in a one-time journey. Keeping this in mind, the Railways is going to run this premium train.
The name of the train is given as it is. For domestic passengers, this premium Buddhist circuit train will be run under the name ‘Dekho Apna Desh AC Deluxe Tourist Train’. This train is being started with a view to promote religious tourism in the country. Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will operate this train for the devotees. For this, many special train routes have been prepared between October and December. Like, Ramayana, Northeast and Char Dham Yatra circuit. This train will leave on these routes.
where will the train go
The journey of premium train ‘Dekho Apna Desh AC Deluxe Tourist Train’ will start from Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station on 7th November. Along with this, it will cover the journey of all the major places related to the life of Lord Shri Ram. Earlier only sleeper classes were used in the train. But now this tour train will be operated with a deluxe AC tourist train with many modern facilities. This tour will be completed in 17 days.
Indian Railways has prepared special routes like Ramayana, Northeast and Char Dham Yatra circuit for this. Ayodhya city will be the first stop in the journey. Here tourists or say devotees will be able to see Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and Hanuman Temple and apart from this the Bharat Temple in Nandigram. After Ayodhya, the next stop would be Sitamarhi in Bihar, the birthplace of Sita and Ram-Janaki temple in Janakpur, Nepal. After Sitamarhi, this train will leave for Varanasi and tourists will visit the temples of Varanasi, Prayag, Shringverpur and Chitrakoot by road. Night stay will be arranged in Varanasi, Prayag and Chitrakoot. The next stop of the train will be Nashik, Hampi and Rameswaram will be the last place of this train journey, after which the train will return to Delhi on the 17th day of its journey. In this entire tour, the passengers will travel a distance of about 7,500 km.

Dekho Apna Desh AC Deluxe Tourist Train will be equipped with many modern and comfortable facilities. The deluxe AC tourist train will include two fine dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cubicles in the coaches, sensor-based washroom function, foot massages among others. Apart from this, the fully air-conditioned train will be equipped with two types of coaches – First AC and Second AC. Not only this, the train will be equipped with CCTV cameras and security guard facilities for each coach. IRCTC has started this special tourist train in line with the Government of India’s initiative “Dekho Apna Desh” to promote domestic tourism at a cost of Rs 82,950 per person.
Insurance facility as well
Passengers will also get insurance cover. This facility will be given with the train ticket only. Insurance facility is being provided along with the ticket price. Apart from this, services of IRCTC tour manager have also been provided. Complete corona vaccination has been made mandatory for passengers of 18 years of age and above in the train. Apart from this, IRCTC will also provide a safety kit to all tourists carrying face masks, hand gloves and sanitizers.

Tickets for Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Gaya, Nandigram, Prayagraj, Shringverpur and Varanasi darshan have been fixed at a cost of Rs 11,395 under the Ramayana Yatra. This journey will be by IRCTC’s cheapest and cheapest tourist train. At the same time, the cost of the entire IRCTC package for rail, air and road passengers by IRCTC is around Rs 1 lakh.
