Information about fever and rashes on the body should be given in the CMO office
In the advisory issued by the Health Department, it was instructed that if there is fever and rashes on the body, then the information of the patient concerned should be shared with the office of the Chief Medical Officer. According to the advisory issued by the Health Department, blisters come out in the body of patients infected with monkeypox. These symptoms last for two to four weeks in monkeypox sufferers. Recently, the Union Health Ministry advised international travelers to avoid eating or cooking the meat of African wild animals, or using products such as creams, lotions and powders made from wild animals of Africa. Apart from this, the ministry also advised to avoid close contact with sick people with wounds on the skin or wounds in the genitals.
Guidelines on the management of monkeypox disease have been issued to the States and Union Territories, which includes an advisory for international travellers. It has been suggested that these travelers should avoid close proximity to small mammals including dead or live rats, squirrels and monkeys. It has advised to stay away from clothes used by sick people, bedding or materials used in health institutions or people who have come in contact with infected animals. It has been said in the advisory that they should be cautious, especially those coming from countries where there have been cases of monkeypox.
