Fog Update: In December, when people have no escape from the cold even throughout the day, the fog has a more pronounced effect. In numerous North Indian states, this type of weather is widely phenomenon. In the cities of North India, the phenomena is very common.
According to IMD, a substantial change in weather patterns and a coming coldwave will be seen. The locals will also soon experience additional frigid morning winds.

Delhi
The national capital will engulf in the dense blanket of fog. The effect of coldwave is to be seen severly in the Delhi, however, significant amount of fog is already creating problems for the natives. IMD has predicted a visibility drop of 1000M in mist/smoke.
Lucknow
Visibility is likely to drop up to 1500M during the morning while it will get reduced as the day proceeds. Apart from Lucknow, the cities that would encounter fog are Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and Meerut, etc.
Jaipur
According to the most recent fog forecast, Jaipur’s early mornings and late evenings are not expected to be foggy. According to IMD’s prognosis, this is expected to persist for a few more days.

Amritsar
Due to a shallow fog, Amritsar’s visibility will likely stay at 1200 metres, while it may rise to 2000 metres in the morning due to haze. But as the day goes on, the visibility ought to get better.
