A case has been registered against more than 1,000 people, including farmer leader Sukhbir Khalifa, who is protesting outside the Noida Authority for his various demands. The police have named more than 20 farmer leaders.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Ranvijay Singh said on Tuesday that on Monday, more than 1,000 farmers had left the Harola procession and reached the Noida Authority office. During the protest, they created a ruckus, broke the barricades put up by the police and blocked the road. In this case, a case has been registered against more than 1,000 people, including Sukhbir Khalifa, the national president of the Bharatiya Kisan Parishad.
Addressing the protesters, farmer leader Sukhbir Khalifa said that the authority officials did not put any demand of the farmers in their board meeting, while the farmers have been protesting continuously for 28 days. He said that now the dam of patience of the farmers is breaking. The Caliph warned that the farmers would come here again on the coming Monday.
Farmers of 81 villages have been protesting against Noida Authority for a month
In the continuation of the farmers’ agitation against the Noida Development Authority, which has been going on for almost a month, the farmers once again demonstrated vigorously on Monday and tried to break the barrier and enter the authority’s office to enforce the lockdown. During this, there was a fierce clash between the farmers with the police. Farmers are protesting against the farmers authority of 81 villages of Noida for their various demands including increased rate of compensation, settlement of the problems of the population. Women and children are also involved in large numbers in the demonstration.
Kisan Parishad leader Sukhbir Pehalwan told that the farmers are protesting near the Noida Authority office for various demands including payment of increased compensation rate, redressal of problems related to the population of farmers and allotment of developed plots.
