It is being told that for the last 4 years, the number of patients of filariasis has increased here. A disease like filariasis makes a living person like a dead one. This disease is also known as elephant foot. If filariasis is detected on time, then treatment can be started soon.

About 50 people in this village are suffering from filariasis. Despite this, the health department remains completely careless. This village has been declared as Red Zone in the records of the Health Department. Despite this, there is no treatment for filariasis. Bhola Devi, a resident of the village, has said that we had filariasis 11 years ago, since then many people of the village have been affected by filariasis. There is no arrangement for its treatment in the village or nearby areas. Because of this we have to go to the district headquarters for treatment. There are health centers in the village, but medicines are not available here.
